Molly was the beloved wife of Michael A. Flynn and a devoted mother to Morgan, Casey, Megan, Michael, and Caroline. She was the cherished daughter of the late John and Lois (McCarthy) McAvoy and a loving sister to John (Anne) McAvoy, Terrence McAvoy, Maribeth (Martin) McNally, and Diane (Christopher) Suffield. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, colleagues, and close friends who will continue to honor and remember the impact she had on their lives.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Curley Funeral Home in Chicago Ridge. A funeral Mass followed on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at St. Michael Church in Orland Park, with interment taking place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
