Born on December 12, 1959, Debbie was the daughter of John and Shirley (Nicholls) Miller. From an early age, she developed the qualities that would define her life — compassion, loyalty, and a willingness to bring warmth and encouragement to those around her.
Throughout her life, Debbie was admired for her strong personality and her ability to make others feel valued. She was someone who embraced people for who they were and created an atmosphere of love and acceptance wherever she went.
Debbie dedicated much of her professional life to serving others through her work at UPMC Jameson Hospital. During her years there, she built meaningful connections with coworkers and patients, earning the appreciation of those who experienced her kindness and commitment firsthand. Her work reflected her natural desire to help others and make a positive difference in the lives of those around her.

Debbie’s greatest joy came from her family. She is survived by her children, Lezley (Sam Ritter) Paglialong, Angela (Zach Kreidler) Paglialong, Nicholas (Amberlynn McConnell) Paglialong, and Gerald (Yvonne) Lane, all of New Castle.
She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Talaya McElroy, Timothy “TJ” McElroy, Gianna (Tyler Savage) Burcham, and Elijah Vitale. Her memory will also be treasured by numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and lifelong friends.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Shirley Miller, and her beloved daughter, Gina Paglialong, whose memory remained an important part of her heart and life.
Among those who will deeply miss Debbie are her best friend of 60 years, Patty Slater, her cousin Diana Sweigert, and the many people who experienced her humor, generosity, and genuine care.
